Give us domain registrar access

Last updated

To point your domain at your new site, your Raileon team needs to update its DNS records. There are two ways to make that possible — pick whichever is easier for you.

1

Option A: Move your domain's nameservers to Cloudflare

Your Raileon team adds your domain to your Cloudflare account and sends you the two nameserver addresses shown there. Log in to wherever you registered your domain (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Squarespace Domains, etc.), find the nameserver settings, and replace them with the two addresses we send you.

2

Option B: Invite us to your registrar account

If you'd rather keep DNS at your current registrar, invite the email address your Raileon team gives you as a collaborator or team member on your registrar account, with permission to edit DNS records. If your registrar has no way to invite someone, use Option A instead.

3

Let us know which you chose

Reply to your Raileon team once either step is done — nameserver changes can take a few hours to take effect worldwide.

Never send us a password

Never send us your registrar or Cloudflare password. Always invite us as a team member, or change the nameservers yourself.

Don't transfer the domain itself

You're changing where DNS is managed — you don't need to transfer domain ownership or registration to a new registrar.
